Best Original Screenplay Oscar winner, this brilliant comedy about teenage pregnancy is dry, sweet and full of heart.

An unplanned pregnancy leaves mature-beyond-her-years teen Juno (Ellen Page), facing a tough decision, and trying to figure out what’s right for her and the baby.

Written by Diablo Cody (Jennifer’s Body, United States of Tara), and directed by Jason Reitman (Thank You For Smoking, Up In The Air), this quirky comedy has a cast to match.

Michael Cera (Superbad), Jason Bateman (Bad Words) and Jennifer Garner (Dallas Buyers Club) are all wonderful in what is so much more than a teen comedy.

In a world where predators and prey finally live in harmony, a bunny (Ginnifer Goodwin) tries to buck the social order by becoming a police rabbit, a profession dominated by predators.

It has possibly one of the best trailers around (see below), a fantastic vocal cast (Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, Shakira and Jenny Slate) and sense of humour sure to tickle both adults and children alike. Watch out for the Breaking Bad joke! From the creators of Tangled, Wreak It Ralph, Big Hero 6 and Frozen, it was always going to be a winner. It’s definitely worth seeing at the cinema.

Who said spelling bees are just for children?

Guy (Jason Bateman), a somewhat obsessive adult, finds a loop hole allowing him to enter a spelling bee. Followed by reporter Jenny (Kathryn Hahn), his is determined to win by whatever means necessary.

The first screenplay by Andrew Dodge and directorial feature debut for Bateman, costars include the likes of Allison Janney and Philip Baker Hall. More sincere than the screwball comedy you might expect; while it manages to remain more grounded, Dodge and Bateman still play off the shock-value for laughs.

Rude, funny and relatable, it’s more intelligent than its cover.
